As an international student you're bound to come into contact with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). Their procedures and regulations can be quite complex, always seek advice on any immigration matters. A good place to start if you have any general questions is Info Sheet 12 Immigration and the DIAC website. It provides comprehensive information on all immigration policy and allows you to download most forms.
