ISS provides personal accommodation assistance to all international students. Students new to QUT should attend Discover Brisbane to find out more about rental accommodation in Brisbane and the services available to international students, including arranging appointments and transport to inspect rental properties.

Finding the right accommodation is a personal and individual choice. We do not recommend booking permanant accommodation without a proper inspection, except when dealing with larger student accommodation providers, some of which are listed on this page.

With the help of ISS most students find permanent accommodation within a week or two of arriving in Brisbane. Until then you should book yourself into a temporary accommodation of your choice. If you would like us to arrange a transfer from the airport to your temporary accommodation completing the ISS Airport Reception form.

Students who have never rented or lived away from home before should read Finding a Place in order to get an idea of what to expect.

Our Accommodation Services can help students with information and advice on;

• living in Brisbane (suburbs, transport, facilities) and setting up a home (furniture, appliances, internet)
• searching of permanant and temporary accommodation
• dealing with real estate and landlords
• any tenancy related questions or issues that may arise
