Great Aussie Lunch

QUT International Students Services (ISS) as part of the East-West Program are coordinating a QUT event called the "Great Aussie Lunch".

The "Great Aussie Lunch" is one day in August where staff and domestic students have the opportunity to invite one or two international students for a meal. This could be in your home or perhaps a picnic in the park. You might like to join with others in your office to have a combined lunch/picnic and invite a few students.

This will give international students an opportunity to experience a meaningful contact with a group/family from Brisbane.

Students should get involved with QUT's East-West activity, the "Great Aussie Lunch"! Be a part of this cross-cultural experience. Register online to be invited by a QUT Staff member for lunch. This activity aims to let both parties experience each others company in an informal way and also you get a free meal too! Do something different and enjoy an afternoon with someone different...

The two proposed dates are

Saturday 9th September
