The International Student Orientation Program is designed to meet the particular needs of students coming from overseas. Your program will consist of various sessions that will help you get properly enrolled, meet academic staff and fellow students, find your way around the university, and prepare you for the academic semester.

All international students are required to attend an in-person enrolment session, which is held during your orientation program. You should attend ONE of the Orientations below, depending on your particular course or program:

You can get your QUT ID card as soon as you arrive on campus, but you will need to bring your passport and current visa details. If you applied through an evisa please bring a print-out of the email confirming your student visa.

The Semester 2 International Orientation Program can be downloaded from this page in June.

If you are arriving for semester 1 or 2 , make sure you join the orientation events organised for all commencing students, which are designed for domestic students. A General Orientation Guide for all students domestic & international is also available from this site. You can also create and print a personalised orientation program by visiting www.orientation.qut.edu.au

Get involved in as much as possible during your orientation. It's a great way to start the semester and expand your social life.
