Plan to arrive at least one or two weeks before your orientation begins and attend Discover Brisbane, especially if you have to find permanent accommodation.
February and
July are usually the busiest months for finding accommodation, although most students
find their accommodation within one week of arriving. If you have already secured your permanent accommodation, plan on arriving
just before your orientation.
Your Academic Calendar gives the dates of when lectures begin, when the semester
breaks are scheduled and the finishing dates for each semester in the year.
